Bagaimana proses pelaksanaan di FoodBank.Digital? Apa yang berlaku selepas permohonan dihantar?

Sejak pelancaran FoodBank.Digital pada 3 Julai 2021, kami telah menerima hampir 53,000 permohonan sehingga 16 Julai 2021, jam 3 petang. Ribuan permohonan diterima setiap hari.

Untuk berkongsi sedikit mengenai latar belakang kami, FoodBank.Digital ditubuhkan melalui kerjasama Exabytes, EasyParcel, EasyStore dan EasyWork, dengan hanya segelintir kecil dari setiap entiti untuk membentuk sebuah pasukan kecil bagi menyokong inisiatif ini. Dengan pertolongan ramai orang yang baik hati, banyak bank makanan ditubuhkan di kawasan yang berlainan untuk membantu mereka yang memerlukan, kami harus mengakui bahawa kami tidak mengharapkan sambutan yang begitu besar di platform kami. FoodBank.Digital ditubuhkan untuk menawarkan bantuan tambahan bagi membantu keluarga yang memerlukan, dan apa yang telah kami ramalkan dan harapkan adalah mensasarkan untuk menghantar 10,000 kotak makanan.

What is the execution process at FoodBank.Digital? What happens after you submit your application?

Since the launch of FoodBank.Digital on 3 July 2021, we have received near to 53,000 applications up to 16 July 2021, 3pm. Thousands of applications are received each day. 

To share a little bit about our backend, FoodBank.Digital was set up through the collaboration of Exabytes, EasyParcel, EasyStore and EasyWork, with only a very small handful from each entity to form a small team to assist with this initiative. With many other good-hearted people who have also set up many other foodbanks in different areas to assist those in need, we must admit that we did not expect such a huge response on our platform. FoodBank.Digital was set up to offer an extra hand to help the families who are in need, and what we had predicted and expected was to target to have 10,000 foodboxes sent out. 

Getting foodboxes ready to be shipped out

Walaupun sambutan yang kami terima sejak pelancaran adalah di luar jangkaan kami tetapi setelah mengadakan perbincangan dalaman, kami tetap berpegang pada objektif utama kami, iaitu untuk menyokong dan membantu  selagi bantuan diperlukan.

Oleh kerana kekurangan tenaga kerja untuk menguruskan sambutan yang diterima, FoodBank.Digital telah menutup sementara permohonan sehingga kami dapat mengusahakan permohonan yang diterima dan menunaikan tunggakan penghantaran. Untuk pengetahuan anda, FoodBank.Digital akan memproses 30,000 permohonan yang diluluskan. Iaitu permohonan yang dihantar sebelum jam 3 petang pada 16 Julai 2021.

Jadi, bagimana keseluruhan proses di belakang tabir setelah permohonan anda diterima?

Setelah permohonan diterima, pasukan kami memerlukan masa sehingga 7 hari untuk menyemak, mengesahkan dan menyetujui / menolak permohonan.

  1. Setelah permohonan diterima, kami perlu 7-14 hari untuk kotak makanan anda dibungkus, atau membuat pesanan untuk membeli barang untuk kotak makanan anda jika stok hampir habis.
  2. Setelah kotak makanan anda dibungkus, kami akan menyerahkan kepada rakan kurier kami Pgeon Delivery dan mengatur pengambilan kotak makanan anda.
  3. Bungkusan anda akan dibawa ke pusat stor Pgeon Delivery untuk direkod, diproses, dan akan dihantar.
  4. Bungkusan kemudian akan diagihkan ke pusat penyetoran Pgeon Delivery yang berdekatan dengan alamat anda.
  5. Bungkusan kemudian akan diberikan untuk penghantaran dan anda akan menerima bungkusan anda pada hari yang sama apabila status penjejakan anda menyatakan “Keluar untuk Penghantaran” atau “Out for Delivery”.

CATATAN: Sekiranya anda belum menerima sebarang pemberitahuan dari kami, ini bermaksud bahawa permohonan anda telah dihantar setelah permohonan kami ditutup atau permohonan anda melebihi had 30,000 kami.

Though the response we received since our launch was very much out of our expectations but after internal discussions, we stick by our main objective, which is to support as long as help is needed. 

Due to the lack of manpower to manage the overwhelming response received, FoodBank.Digital has temporarily put a close to our application so as to be able to work on the applications received and clear off backlogs. Do note that FoodBank.Digital will process up to 30,000 approved applications that were submitted before 3pm on 16 July 2021.

So, what is the flow behind once your application is submitted?

  1. Application received and the team will need up to 7 days to review, verify and approve/reject
  2. Once approved, we will need 7-14 days place order for your foodbox to be packed, or place order to purchase items for your foodbox if stocks are running low
  3. Once your foodbox is packed, we will assign to our courier partner Pgeon Delivery and arrange for pick up of your foodbox. 
  4. Your parcel will be taken to Pgeon Delivery sorting hub for recording and process, and it will be shipped out
  5. Parcel will then be assigned to Pgeon Delivery sorting hub that is near to your address
  6. Parcel will then be assigned for delivery and you will receive your parcel on the same day when your tracking status states “Out for Delivery”

NOTE: If you have not received any notification from us by now, this means that your application was submitted after our application has closed or your application was beyond our 30,000 limits.
